As a quality assurance manager we want to turn you into THE expert for quality assurance of software. You get the opportunity to dive deeply into a variety of technologies, trends and startup spirit within a very short period of time.
You will work closely with Octorank’s very small and dedicated product team and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with a lot of community events, activities and networking in our Berlin co-working space. But if you prefer, you can also work from home or from the Bahamas 🙂
Your responsibilities:
- Driving excellence in product testing coverage, for example through testing for resolved bugs and automation of our testing processes
- Developing product proposals from partner requests in line with our product strategy.
- Creating comprehensive and well-structured testing plans of new features and deployments
- Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products with a focus on end-customer delivery
You qualifications/requirements:
- Certificate of enrolment of a German university
- Work or university project experience in software quality assurance with knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test documentation, product requirements, user stories and user acceptance tests
- Knowledge of automated testing methods
- Knowledge of best practice agile scrum development or lean startup principles
- Good communication skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
